Pay-per-click advertising

Pay-per-click advertising allows your business to move to the top of search results on search engines, such as Google. You pay a small fee (a fes cents) per click to have your webside listed up among the easily seen “sponsored links” that appear in a search.

Typically, the higher ranked on the search results page, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users.

The process for setting up a pay-per-click account is fairly straightforward.

1. Choose a provider, (such as Google)

2. Set up an account with them online

3. Choose keywords that might be searched by potencial customers.

4. Write the ad.

When you write your pay-per-click ad, choose your words carefully. Usually the ad will be less than 25 words you’ll want to catch the attention of potencial customers.

Set a limit of how much you want to spend.

The beauty of this form of advertising is that you can spend as little or as much as you like. Through your account, choose how much you want to spend per month or day. Often you can also indicate where you want the ads to run geographically or at what times of day.
