The power of word

Great way to pay tribute to a great teacher I had, a living legend called Alfonso Carton and his family, who will help you as well by making this important lesson understood. “The twig” is what they call their meetings.

This memorable act consisted of getting together (me as a guest) in his house, among several members to play a certain theme, like the one that I have the pleasure of remembering below. We are in the house of God.

It has undoubtedly been one of the best reflections I have ever heard and will ever hear, I remember those days as if they were yesterday. With the passage of time I have opted for writing as I am less loquacious and, I consider it allows us to use a more specific technique with which to express ourselves clearly by having, with fewer obstacles, a greater spectrum provided by the vocabulary of the Royal Academic of the Spanish language.

Each sentence he said was like a projectile that subtly impacted my brain, altering my neurons, which at that time were somewhat misplaced. As his explanations progressed, I couldn’t believe it, what happened with each of the words that came out of his mouth, with such force that it was as if they were gaining more and more power …
